Europe to finally get PSN Video Store by November |

Yes, the PS3 Slim is coming. Now get yourselves together! That is not the only announcement that Sony gave out in their conference, in case you didn't notice. For one, the PSN video download service is also coming to Europe. Finally. Didn't catch that one, did you?Yeah, it's finally arriving to the European continent. And according to the same announcement (that everyone apparently drowned out with their shrieks of PS3 Slim delight), the following countries will be getting the service as early as this year: France, Germany, Spain, UK. Meanwhile, other countries will be getting it in 2010.
PSN Video Store is partnering with movie studios, like 20th Century Fox, MGM Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, to bring their Silver Screen blockbusters to the online service. It was also said that customers can choose from over hundreds of titles at launch, by purchase or rental. You can also choose from either your PS3 or PSP to view both HD and SD content.
Now, let the next round of celebrations begin.

America's got it, Europe is getting it... I don't see why it's so difficult to bring it over to Canada now too. Think it has something to do with having English and French content but if They can have it in Europe with their many many more languages I don't see what the problem is...
Yeah, i read something about the English/French conflict with content.
Your also forgetting that Canada is a country and Europe is a continent. They're doing Europe country by country.
I thought you already got it together with USA, sorry for you guys. I'm sure you get it soon as well.
The trailer for it on the PS store shows movies like Transformers RotF, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation and I think Angels and Demons (didnt see that one but I think thats what the clips were) as well as a chunk of last years Dark Knight so judging by that it should have be well stocked with recent stuff.
Quite pleased to get a video store, particularly as I don't even have a real video rental place near me and I don't like doing all that postage rental crap. Another feature on my PS3 is always nice.
Yeah, I just hope they're not using the same trailer that was for the US Store.
I would be cool if SCEE stayed on top of this service.
