Europe getting SOCOM: Confrontation in 2009? |

SOCOM: Confrontation has been out in North America for more than a month now. In Europe, it's supposed to come out on November 28. Thing is, we've just heard word that the game might not make its scheduled release date.
According to gaming news website Arena51, the release of Slant Six's tactical shooter for the PS3 has been moved to sometime during the first trimester of 2009. This info allegedly comes from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) itself.
No reasons were given, but it could be so the game doesn't get lost in the Fall games rush over there. Maybe they want time to fix more of the issues constantly reported in the US release. We're still waiting on SCEE and Slant Six to confirm the delay, though. Keep checking back here for updates.

useless delaystation strikes again!!
man i'm getting sick of this *****. looks like another company on my ***** list then for delaying a game along with ea for delaying RB1 for sooo long.
i just refuse to buy anything that they have had anything to do with along with many other people that feel the same way.
might not even happen
but if it does it sucks, i was mainly buying it for the headset anyway
you played the beta? The game wasn't that good. Delaying it to make it better/improve the servers would be a much better idea. MGO plays better than SOCOM, a lot better.
they can delay this indefinitely for all i care, the beta was *****.
You played the full game lately? It's really not that bad. All those screamer complain about everything are more likely just saying something they heard. It has major problem in 1.0. 1.1 fixed a bunch off issues and 1.2 fixed the scope issue. I had played every other day and I had no problem with the game. Sure it does lag and etc but it doesn't suck at all. Not the best looking game out there but online play compare to most consoles games I have to say it is not bad. People just compare it with COD4 all the time but it is just not COD4. It plays differently!
