It's been months since Eternal Sonata for the PS3 was released in North America (never mind Japan, those guys get almost everything first!). But now, a more solid release date for Europe has finally chimed in.

Every since last year, Atari (they have publishing rights for the game in Europe) just announced a February 2009 release window, but now, you might want to take out those red markers for a specific date on your calendar. Eternal Sonata will be released in Europe come February 13.

.

Was this game any good? Haven't heard much about it...

I've heard it is.

The visual style, music and unique setting are it's strong points - where as some generic-ish RPG happenings and I guess mediocre voice acting are what brought down it's scores. I've actually planned on getting this for quite a while but never seem to get around to it. I've got a number of other titles I want to finish before delving into this beast.

basically

if you want an rpg on the ps3... this is one of the best so far (considering there's just a handful of ps3 rpgs out there as of now)...
