The Goliath Tank in Unreal Tournament 3 - Image 1Having trouble playing through Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 3 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)? Or do you simply want to compare strategy notes with other players? Either way, Chris Mielke, art production manager at Epic Games, has shared his personal strategies regarding weapons and the Vehicle Capture the Flag Suspense map.

According to Mr. Mielke, instead of just driving the Goliath Tank directly down the Unreal Tournament 3 Suspense map bridge, a better option would be to move the tank from its starting position to the first large bridge support pillar and use it as cover for your newfound sniping spot. Beware of flankers, though.

Another one of Mr. Mielke's strategies involves a counter-intuitive way of using the suspension bridge's cables: take a sniper rifle or the AVRiL with you, and then use the suspension bridge cables to reach the upper areas of the bridge. You'll find two tasty sniping spots in the form of suspension bridge towers, each with UDamage powerups.

Mr. Mielke has also offered various random tips to players of Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 3: he has advocated the use of the lock-on function with the rocket launcher for anti-air defense, as well as crouching while grappling to a vehicle on the hoverboard for adding balance and for making your character a smaller target.
