I hope they don't show this trailer during the superbowl. Why you ask? Well, because it sucks. It's hard to even tell it's a first person shooter! I think they can come up with a much better trailer than that. Not to compare Killzone 2 to Gears of War 2, but their commercials were pretty damn good. I don't think enough people know about this game... YET.

I doubt Sony would advertise during the Superbowl. A 30s slot costs around $3 million. Does anyone seriously think Sony would spunk $3-6 million on 1 advert?

i was about to say once again they made a commercial that made sense, unlike those odd playstation commercials since ps1 era.



dear sony when you make commercials, show the product and what it can do, not weird stuff like "live in your world play in ours" crap

It doesn't really need to show everything about how the game 'works'. A Superbowl spot only needs to attract attention. And the music and images do that quite well. I watched the trailed 3 times in a row. (And, I've seen all the previous vids which show in-game FPS views.) The music makes this dramatic, and I'm sure on peoples' 1080p football bigscreens this would look like a must-have. Like the post below by chessboxer, I am a bit doubtful that Sony is going to drop a gob of cash to advertise during the Super Bowl. But, if they were to do so, this spot would do plenty fine for what they're intent is (to catch the interest of those who don't know what Killzone 2 is, or weren't aware of how powerful the PS3 is).
