FPS fans rejoice for it has been confirmed that Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is going to be released for the Xbox360 and the PS3. Gamers have yet another reason to purchase one or both of these consoles. The games are to be developed by Nerve (for the Xbox 360) and Z-Axis (for the PS3).So what should we expect from ET:QW? Well, both the Strogg and GDF will have five specialist classes to play with. There will be vehicles ranging from quad-bikes to alien walkers. In addition, there will also be helicopters and anti-grav ships dealing death from above. Teams will be able to establish bases, deploy defensive structures, and even advanced forward-command systems. The game will support 16-player frag-fests and team games on the consoles. It sounds like a tall order to us but then id Software's been known to deliver. We'll have more updates as soon as they become available.

That ok. You can have a dumber down version for consoles that wont look or play better than the PC version.

By the way for all you PC gamers.....Heaps of my buddies are PC gamers and almost none use an udible headset when they play. LAME! You can't even talk to people ur playing counter strike with, you don't meet new people from your city and others across the world. PC blows when it come to human interaction...Ya Nerds!
I'm a BIG PC Gamer.. but to to play the games that the 360 and PS3 play on a PC.. You need quite a machine theses days... And it's actually alot cheeper to get a HD TV and a 360 to enjoy such games.. And get that new mouse and keyboard adapter from modchip.com... can't beat that.. get all the great feel of a PC game on a much bigger and better HD TV.. And Ace, your right!!! I love to yell at the damn guy who just fragged me...
Imagine for a second if this game or any other game allowed you to play online in a cross-platform war. PS3 users vs 360 users. It would be the best concept ever. War games have been done before (like chromehounds for 360). But this would be different. A WAR IN WHICH YOU ACTUALLY HATE YOUR ENEMY!!!. and the patriotic feeling people would get from playing FOR the CONSOLE.
THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!
Ps3 users vs 360 users. The Ultimate battle. Better than the Locust horde vs the COG, or the Covenent vs Humanity and Master Chief, or The Chimera vs Britian and Nathan Hale, or.... well you get the point. As for me, I am a man without a country, A mercenary, as I own both systems. But I would most likely side with My PS3 brethren for 3 simple reasons:
1. I generally favor My PS3 over 360 (over the long run)
2. Xbox live has a whole lot more players so PSNetwork could use the help.
3. If this is a FPS then PS owners might as well spread their legs bend over as far as they can and kiss thier asses goodbye, as the original Xbox and the 360 are built around FPS, I mean if it were a MMORPG the PSnetwork would have a shot.

Console is the future.. PC's are for internet and book keeping... Unless you shell out 5 grand for a PC... no point in gaming on it... Only sad thing about the rise of consoles is the death of the arcade... I miss the arcade..
War? it would be as much of a war as the console war and format war, Meaning there would be no war. PS3 users would pwn xbots. 360 users are idiots who use chainsaws in shooting games. PS users are smarter and would strategize and out maneuver xbots. I wish a game with cross platform war would come out. Then I could kick some xbot @ss.

dude......360 fans would own....it wouldnt even be fair actually. look how much practice they get since 90% of their games are FPS.
