Eight new WipEout HD tracks announced |
Ó
Fans of the WipEout series have a lot to be excited about. Eight new tracks for Sony Computer Entertainment's WipEout HD have been revealed. The new levels - Vineta K, Chenghou Project, Sebenco Climb, Sol 2, Ubermall, Anulpha Pass, Moa Therma and Metropia - each have their own challenges that should challenge even the most jaded of WipEout veterans.
Vineta K is a 4.4 KM track which is located along the southern shores of Makana Island. Expect to find some pretty interesting scenery in this level such as underwater tunnels and some cutting-edge architecture along the waterfront.
The 4.8 KM Chenghou Project in the center of the Makana business district contains a few tricks that will surprise those who experience the track for the first time. Of note are the inverse-cambered spiral section which ends in a long jump towards the tunneled entry of the final chicane.
Sebenco Climb, a 4.8 KM track cut into the hillsides of MakanaÂ’s Sebenco mountain range, features a steep traverse up the snowy mountainside. Thrill seekers will enjoy the plunge into an icy tunnel carved through the very heart of the mountain. More technically sound individuals will probably try to gain an advantage in the final section which has a tight chicane.
At 4.4 KM, Sol 2is perhaps the most intriguing track since it lies in the skies of Makana Island. Pilots should expect lots of fast-flowing, occasionally open-sided corners linked by sweeping straights. This is a map where speedsters can show their mettle.
As you can see from these tracks, the developers have been pretty busy thinking of new and innovative twists to make WipEout HD a worthy addition to the series. In case you want to find out more about the other levels, feel free to follow our source link below.
