Eight new screenshots of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare |
Ó
More hard-hitting wartime shooter action with a slick modern-day weaponry taste in this screenshot update of Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). We get you locked, loaded and armed in the struggle that takes you from the age-old battlefields of wars long ago, and sticks you right in the present to dole out some pain with high-end weaponry.
In this screenshot update, we get some juicy in-game action - and while it's already been said quite a few times, it bears repeating: the graphics in Call of Duty 4 look absolutely stunning. The guns, the character models, the environments are all so fantastically detailed that it's hard not to get lost in them. The weapons themselves are modeled to perfection that it really looks like you're handling something deadly - and you are.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's definitely looking sweet, and may be the best thing that's happened to a genre that's been inundated with wartime shooters lately. Updates as we get them, and enjoy the screenshots!

Why even say "OMG FIRST!?!?!" when its soo easy to do? It's also stupid and overdone
great visuals but bad animation. :P
I just don't seem to care how graphically intensive a game looks any more, I'm looking for interactivity and depth. I have no doubts about COD4 being good... cuz all of the COD games have been good, but... I'm just saying I'd rather have the ability to pop car tires, destroy the environment and shoot birds out of trees.... just random stuff like that which make you feel like you're in a real world. That'll make a game have a lasting effect, more so than superior graphics for the time it's released.
on Aug 9th and 10th me and 49 other ppl flew into LAX and partied it up with IW, Activision, and G4tv. The game is AMAZING!!! i don't think it's getting the attention it deserves. BUY IT!!! you won't regret it.
I thought COD3 was terrible.
it was.
