Eidos president Ian Livingstone has confirmed what pretty much every Hitman fan has been waiting for: a new Hitman game. It's not really a surprise, but it's still good to have some confirmation at least.

In an interview with GameIndians, Livingstone confirmed that IO Interactive is indeed developing the next installment in the hit franchise:

It's being worked on, but there's been no announcement on the release date yet. We haven't even announced the game yet, so everything you hear about the next Hitman game is purely speculation at this point.

Livingstone also noted that the game is being developed alongside a new Kane & Lynch game and Mini-Ninjas, so it may take a while until we see Agent 47 in action again.

I won't mind playing Kane & Lynch 2 and Mini Ninjas as both of those titles look to be awesome. Another Hitman wouldn't hurt either. They made a big comeback with Blood Money, as I thought Contracts was kinda dull.

so your point is really based on the fact that there are 1.7 million people stupid enough to buy kane and lynch easily one of the worst games made since ps3s European launch back in november 2006. even E.A games and yearly updates are more original then kane and lynch and thats nearly an impossibilty for E.A.

» Epic fail.

Not only did you double post, but you had no actual counter-argument whatsoever. The PS3 didn't even launch in November 2006, it was delayed until sometime in March 2007. Kane + Lynch released late 2007.

You seem to not even have played it, as I guess you went by Jeff G's review on GameSpot to base your hatred off of. The game wasn't perfect, but it was badass enough to sell as many copies it did.

You can say whatever you want, the fact is, the game so a hell of a lot of copies, and that's why a sequel's getting made, commoner.

seriously epic fail naroon i guess your american from the way you speak if not then your proberly just retarded maybe do some research before argueing ps3 release in europe 16th november 2006 fact as i got mine then you mug. owe and your 1.7 million is made up from second hand sales and canncelled pre orders which eidos still counted in its sales figure fact. fact is no one will make the same mistake twice hitman everyone will want. but kane & lynch 2 will be judged by its predecessor and fail miserably like naroon of qj on every post of his ive seen on here.
