EB Games uncloaks Assassin's Creed 2 Black Collector's Edition

Assassin's Creed II - Image 1Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) is going black. EB Games Australia is reportedly offering at their online store the Assassin'sc Creed 2 Exclusive Black Collector's Edition, and is pegging it for a November 2009 ship-out.

This edition carries with it items such as the following:
  • Rare “Master Assassin” upgrade Ezio figurine
  • 3 in-game bonus quests
  • Conspiracy book - 64 pages of exclusive development team insights, covered in finely crated leather style hardcover and parchment finish pages
  • Game Soundtrack by Jesper Kyd (British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominee for “2009 Best original score in a game”)
  • All videos, behind-the-scene interviews and e-goodies about AssassinÂ’s Creed II
  • Collectible black packaging featured with unique authenticity holographic signature

$120? Publishers are getting carried away with these limited editions.



But I guess people buy them. I usually buy the $70 ones because I like the special boxes lol, but $120 is a bit much for AC2.

I remember buying the first CE. It came with a huge tine can box with practically nothing inside. The figure was so small, and I'm sure this will just be the same size. The tin box is big enough to hold 3 dvd cases. So in the long run, the box will make a great case to hold AC1, AC2, and most likely AC3.
