Early arrival: the Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo

Ninja Gaiden sneaks up like stealthy ninja - Image 1

Talk about stealthy! Like a ninja, it crept right behind us when we were expecting it to come later on, and it slapped our butts and called us wusses. We're talking about the Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and it's here a day early.

The game's apparently out to surprise even quick-witted fellows like us. We were expecting the demo of the game to come on the 27th. Instead, an article on PS3 Center says that it's out now, and we're excited to know it's there.

The game sports 1080p graphics running at 60 fps. In addition, you'll be able to unlock new weapons and additional content, all on one demo. In the meantime, we're trying to verify which regions the demo is supposed to be out for, so let us know if your region has it already.

In the meantime, we're checking our PS3 as we speak. We hope you find your ninja action on your local PlayStation Network as well. Enjoy!

I noticed that in the Japan and Hong Kong Stores, you can now download PS1 games for the PS3.

When is this going to be available in the US?

I've already downloaded a few and i don't want to have to pay again.

Hopefully today when they add Ninja Gaiden, because the JPN and HKG stores have already been updated for the day.

So let's hope US get's the same update PLUS Ninja Gaiden :]

Are you guys checking other countries regions using a pc or on the PS3, if on the PS3 how the hell are you doing that? (oh, and i dont just mean using the internet browser on the ps3!)

i live in Jacksonville, FL(USA Eastern Time) it updates at exactly 5:00 p.m. either it updates at the same time for everyone and it happens to be 5 for us, or it is set to update at 5 pm on thursday whenever it turns 5 wherever you live, so some people get it an hour or even 12 hours before some other people. i think that this is the case.

For those that were asking, its pretty easy. On your Ps3 click new user. Then go through the psn sign up (10 or so pages), stating your location as US, JAP, UK, whatever. You probably need a valid postal address to go with the region.

I'm able to download using PS3 proxy without the need of accessing the Japanese Playstation Network Shop i dont have a Japanese account. it works with firmware 1.70 make sure it's downloading in background.

also the game have English language, subtitles and Japanese vocals, the game can be all english if u like ;)

Wow, that's _much_ better than I expected! It overall has a really nice next generation feel to it, that's what I got the PS3 for.

I hope the graphics for FF13 will be just as nice and smooth. SquareEnix should ask TECMO for that graphics engine, great job!
