EA Sports: Tony Dungy new 'cover coach' for NFL Head Coach 09 |

It looks like EA Sports is winding up for the latest installment of its premier football management sim series with NFL Head Coach 09 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next-gen consoles. The latest iteration will feature the Indianapolis Colts' Tony Dungy as the "cover coach" for this year's title.Taking off from the success of last season's victory over the Chicago Bears, EA Sports decided to get Dungy, who became the first African-American coach who won the Super Bowl, to endorse NFL Head Coach 09.
The new title will feature the same strategic game planning that has been the trademark of the series. While most football sims rely on the open field to decide the winner of a match, all of the action will be decided from the sidelines as you make all-important plays and decisions which can make or break each game your team plays.
While there has been no announcement from EA Sports when NFL Head Coach 09 will be released, fans of the series can expect the title to be just around the corner. In the meantime, we'll make sure to watch out for any new updates we get for the game.
