Given the amount of media coverage SKATE (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) has been getting, game developer/publisher EA has decided to get organized by opening up the SKATE official site. And while the site's pretty short on the game's eye-candy screenshots, it does feature a video vault containing choice cuts of some of SKATE's expected (and once again, visually gorgeous) gameplay.
Another feature prospective players can look forward to is a video tutorial of the game's flickit controls. For the sport's hardcore fans, there's a profile for SKATE's noted personalities - Jerry Hsu and Mark Gonzalez (aka The Gonz) are just among the names you may recognize.
There's also a link to the game's forums, which should make for a good discussion area for plotting out multiplayer matches come SKATE's launch this year to the PS3 and Xbox 360. The site is available at the read link - keep posted in case we pick up more game details, such as a specific launch date per console.
