EA and MLG announce 2009 EA Sports Challenge

It's with announcements like this that you're glad you spent all that time learning all the ins and outs of sports games. Hopefully, you did it in EA Sports titles. If so, now you can put your mad skills to good use in the upcoming 2009 EA Sports Challenge, where you can win cash and prizes for doing what you do best.

On August 17th, Major League Gaming will be holding the online qualifiers for various EA Sports titles, and those who make the cut will be battling it out for cash and prizes totaling US$ 170,000, made possible by SCEA. With SCEA involved, you know that the entire thing will be played on PS3s. The 2009 EA Sports Challenge Series will kick off in Dallas, Texas on August 29th and the 30th.
