The new console versions adds in something special to the mix, and quite literally too, as it will be now known as Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce Special. But of course, it does live up to the name by vamping up the graphics and tweaks in the ad-hoc play to online play. Up to four players can join in a match at one time, via both PSN and XBLA, and also supports text and voice chat.
You can expect to get it ready by October 1st -- well, in Japan. First. As usual. As for a release beyond the territory of the rising sun, no word yet. Oh, and they're also introducing some new characters, like Meng Huo.
