Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 overload: screens, art, video

Ó

Ahoy, we've got a big batch of screens for the Gundam fans. Here we see Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2. Yes, the sequel to the first game, obviously. If it weren't for the title attached to these screens, I would have thought this batch was recycled material from the previous game.

It looks pretty much like the standard Dynasty Warriors: Gundam fare we saw back in 2007 - but this sequel is supposed to have a couple of enhancements and additions. The biggest change of which would be the Mobile Armor bosses.

What's cool about this batch of media though are the mobile suits shown in the art renders. Some of the more notable ones include Devil Gundam, Quin Mantha, and Psyco Gundam Mk-II. See if you can spot them below.

And finally, just for the heck of it, a gameplay video:

Koei and Namco Bandai's Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PS2 on December 18 in Japan, and early 2009 in other regions.

The first one was horrible.. It was slow, confusing, and didn't really make sense. I can't believe Dead Rising isn't getting a sequel (as of yet) but this piece of crap game is. Don't get me wrong, I love Dynasty Warriors, but this spinoff thing is just trash

my biggest complain is that there are way too little moves and nothing compare to DW or SW. Plus most of the move are useless. I really don't know what they were thinking. May be they think robots can't move like Zhao Yun or Zhang He.

I hated the Dynasty Warriors series. Could never get into it. But being a Gundam fan I picked up DW:G and fell in love. After that I bought DW6 and hated it.

I can see exactly why it's getting a sequel as a lot of people on my friends list also played it and loved it.

I actually felt that it was better than the regular dynasty warriors. Of course like you I'm a fan of both Gundam and pretty much all Sci-fi in general, but I still felt it was a good game.

Yeah, I agree, I couldn't get into the other DW series like I did with DW:G.

I hope they add downloadable Mechs this time, I really wanted to play as some SEED/Destiny suits in the last game. I'm not really feeling the glossy look for all the mechs.

Can anyone tell me what the name is of the 9th mobile suit that's shown in the 2nd batch of pictures? My brother's had a model of it for the longest time, but I never knew which series it was from.
