Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 Japanese trailer

Maybe you've already scoped out the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 (PS3, Xbox 360) trailer we posted a week ago. While it did have some gameplay footage, that one was riddled with cutscenes. If gameplay's what you're looking for, check out this new Japanese trailer for the game.

Looking good, graphics-wise, but I have one gripe about the enemies: are they really just supposed to stand there and take that beating? The game supposedly has an improved AI system, so I'm willing to accept that maybe this footage was taken during a playthrough on the easiest level difficulty.

Koei and Namco Bandai's Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 is scheduled to hit North America and Europe at the tail-end of March 2009.

I take it that you NEVER played KOEI's Dynasty *anything* didn't you? If you have slightly played any of these games you know that it IS a 'feature'.

the editor is partly correct on his gripe; the horde of enemy MS Suits look ridiculously idle in the game play. Hell, they're not even moving. At least the chinese soldiers scream like girls and run when they know theyre going to die.

The graphics are really impressive. My cousins would love to play this game since they love DW series and Gundams to death. Pity they only have a ps2. Too bad they live in burma...

it could pass for a "feature" if that was running on psp.

i kind of thought that is was like that when i played warriors:orochi on psp. but on a console with much more processing power there is hardly an excuse for that.

i thought that more enemies would attack you on higher difficulty. instead, attacks do more damage :/

don't get me wrong - i also played SW and DW on ps2, so i know it's a "feature" of the series. but i think it's inexcusable on more powerful consoles.
