Like the previous Empires and Xtreme Legends titles, Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires will add more gameplay modes and objectives to the existing game. According to the press release, you may choose to play as a ruler or officer in two distinct roles, so that should be new to the franchise. Creating your own warrior and sending him/her up the ranks aren't new features, but that's one thing I'd like to have over and over.
Coming to Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires is one character that didn't make it to the last version, while six characters are gonna get new weapons and new move sets. They didn't say who, but my guess is they're gonna change the regular sword wielders. Another interesting new twist - the Nanman Kingdom returns. So if you're tired of purging the Cao clan of Wei from your sight, then these weak nobodies might be good for some entertainment.
Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires will also feature "incredibly influential cards" that can be acquired as you progress through the game. These cards will provide you with a vast array of options to improve the state of your people, or force them to do your selfish bidding. These cards will play a key role in your success in this title.
And on the battlefield, you can now climb and jump off previously unaccessible areas and terrain. New ambush options and sneak attacks are now made available. Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires will hit stores in the United Kingdom on June 26th.
