Duke Nukem Forever gameplay vid, for real?

As if to show the Duke's fans what they've been missing out on for years, a video surfaces with gameplay footages from notorious vaporware Duke Nukem Forever. It's a bloody futuristic FPS, featuring the attitude and the nudity - all in Duke Nukem fashion. Check it out.

The vid is currently hosted on the site of a now former 3D Realms employee. He says it's for game developers only, but good luck trying to keep the internet from spreading it like Hollywood gossip.

What we just saw might've been proof of how far 3D Realms came to making Duke Nukem Forever before closing down. With that much done, it'd be a shame to just let it all just go to waste. As it is, the Duke still hasn't found a new team to develop Forever, and the decade-long wait may now be too much for some of his followers.

I've only played Duke Nukem 3D but I liked it very much despite that the game wasn't in actual 3D as we know it today. But damn, this seems to be a game I could actually buy today. It's a shame that it went down the trash can, and I haven't even seen anything of it before this - let alone been longing for it.

Obviously 3D Realms was really working on this game, and did plan to release it. It wasn't an "inside joke" or whatever

I'm beginning to feel that this is all a big advertisment campaign.This is way to much gameplay to just let it go to waste.

I assumed the game would be like any other FPS, but this is FPS Platinum. Not a life bar, but an Ego Meter. Duke's one-liners were badass.

"I'm not gonna fight you, I'm gonna kick your ass."

The visuals were pretty good as well as everything else. If they do find another developer, they better not start from scratch or change any major elements, because I'm not waitin' another 12 years to play some Duke.
