Because simply casting a spell to thrash enemies isn't enough, in Disgaea 4, the Omega-tier spells will be accompanied with special characters in the spells. Not just any characters though, these are powerful spells, after all. For that, Nippon Ichi called on various characters to cameo.

If you cast Omega Fire, Meito Anizawa from Anime Tencho will show up for the burn.

There are four others - Star, Heal, Wind, and Cool. Who do we have?
