Disgaea 3 save data can be loaded into Disgaea 4

With all the stuff you do in Disgaea games, it's a shame to just leave all that work behind when you move on to play the next installment. Fortunately for Disgaea 4, things are going to be different. Nippon Ichi today announced that the upcoming title will allow you to load save data from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice.

Will it let your previous units and equipment carry over? Will it unlock classes? Will it give Mao something actually worthwhile to do? No one knows since Nippon Ichi is keeping a tight lid on the subject, guarded by super Prinnies. Really, saw it myself. What the save data crossover does will have to wait for another announcement.
