Devil May Cry 4 dated in Japan, hits January 31

Devil May Cry 4 - Image 1Video game news website IGN reports that according to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Devil May Cry 4 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Games for Windows) has finally been given a Japanese release date.

The multiplatform title from Capcom will hit Japan on January 31, 2008. There have been conflicting reports about the game's U.S. release date, but it was earlier reported to be January 2, 2008.

Japanese gamers can get a copy of Devil May Cry 4 for 7,990 yen (US$ 69). Those who get a copy of the game early will also get a special DVD which will reportedly "ship in Dante and Nero versions." No word yet on whether or not this special DVD will make it to territories outside Japan.

this game was never coming on Jan. 2,qj just made it up that's why they didn't provide any links n why i culdn't find proof on the web the earliest this game can come out is the same day as th jp if not later

Unless proven otherwise and we can't go by what other sites state, unless capcom, DMC4 will be coming out on jan 2. Also where is your proof that QJ is wrong seems to me your just disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing.
