Ó

Xbox360 users were pissed when they found out that the Def Jam: Icon demo was delayed, so to cool your heads off, we brought you the soundtrack details instead. We know that the soundtrack in no way compares to the demo, but hey, it's still better than nuthin', right? And to further keep you preoccupied while waiting for that demo, here's another trailer we were able to score, which shows us how to work the Directional Attacks feature in the game.

As we've been telling you guys, the music will define your gameplay, so obviously, music will play a huge role in your gameplay. I mean, why else would they let you create your own playlist, eh? And as the General Manager of EA Chicago also points out in the vid below, even the use of the environment in the core fighting system will be sync'd to the beat of the in-game music.

But enough with the chitchat, we'll just let you check out the vid below which should teach you how to work the directional attacks with controls tutorials and whatnots. Def Jam: Icon for the PS3 and Xbox360 are both slated for release this March. Enjoy the vid!

hmmm...

I loved the last two ga,es in the series but I can't shake the feeling that this game is going to blow... the moves (or lack thereof) I've seen in the videos are amazingly underwhelming... I was totally open minded to the analog controls even though I knew I would miss the aki scheme influence.... Punch, spin kick, pick up, throw... Kind of like a next gen "pit fighter"... hope Im wrong, guess we'll see in the demo.

Graphicly

It looks much better and more realistic. Because you ain't seeing a yellow bloom effect. If they use that, but it is white, like in real life. That really makes it cool. Way to go, something nice from EA :D

Fight night controls

It looks like EA chicago decided to make the controls like fight night. I dont think this is a good idea for a fighting game.
