Deal: Wal-mart shaves CAD 110 from its 80GB PS3 in Canada

80GB PS3 - Image 1A Wal-Mart anniversary flyer for Canada was recently spotted by RedFlagDeals forum goer jEevion and it caught our eye because of one particular item sporting a hefty price drop. It's none other than the 80GB Sony PlayStation 3 which sheds CAD$ 110 from its tag!

The high-end game console comes bundled with Sony PS3 hit game MotorStorm and has a Blu-ray remote control included for added convenience. The selling price on the advertisement now shows CAD$ 549.83 from CAD$ 659.83

If you follow the links you see these prices are for Canada.../ Also, how is 599.99-549.83 over 110 off? The math just doesn't add up. Also, just look at some of the game prices....some of the ps3 games are 45 bucks AFTER a 22 dollar price drop...which means they are over the USA price of 59.99. So these deals are for Canada right now.

You claim that they "shed $100" off. Shaving $100 off means that they would take a whole $100 off. Not $50 or so dollars off.

The ps3 was Cad$659 now its Cad$549. this is really interesting tho. If this is for the 80GB ps3 model then it will be cheaper to get a ps3 in Canada now. but if it is the 60 GB model its about USD$50 more.

This is certainly a good deal, it would be equivalent to $634 AUD, which is already almost $400 AUD cheaper than the 60gb here.

I just bought it from bestbuy, they already know about the walmart "price cut", I got the 80g with motorm AND a blue ray remote for a total that is the same as the 60 price right now, LOL too great! :D
