DBZ: Burst Limit screens - Nappa, Yamcha, and a Saiyaman |
Ó
Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) has some of the biggest names in the Dragon Ball Z universe. Well, the latest batch of screenshots from Famitsu show that even the less popular characters will be making an appearance in the game.
The screenshots show off some of the series' supporting characters, like Nappa, who will be playable. Fans of the series will also probably enjoy checking out a few of the cut-scenes such as the one with Yamcha about to get blown up by a suicidal Saiyaman.
We're pretty sure you want to see the screenshots for yourself. So we're not going to keep you any longer. Here they are, enjoy!

Why did they take a step back from the DBZ fighting games? This doesn't look next-gen (although it doesn't matter much). Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best DBZ fighting game out. This game looks like it's taking a step back from the Tenkaichi games which sucks.
I guess I'll just pass on this game and wait for the PS3 Naruto game to come out.
this is nothing like nxt-gen com'on this can look way way better..
The graphics look fantastic..
It's called Cel-shading..
It's meant to look like a cartoon.
Only a next-gen console or a powerful PC could render graphics like that.
Sounds like next-gen to me.
This game looks fantastic! This game looks like the closest thing to the actual cartoon. I guess some just don't know what they are looking at. The game does look like a cartoon, just how it's supposed to. It looks fun and entertaining although weird just like the cartoon.
My main point wasn't really about the graphics. I know they are trying to give it a cartoon type look (cause they did the same with the other recent games). But seriously, when you have Tenkaichi 3, you don't really need another DBZ game. It has a ton of characters and you don't really need to see the storyline over again in a new game.
I guess they call it Burst Limit because there will be a "Limit" on it such as less characters, probably less story progression, and it will be on the 360.
If you're a DBZ fan looking for a fighting game then you are better off just getting Tenkaichi 3.
It better have story mode, and not stop at the cell saga.I want it to cover the whole dbz
series, and have a whole bunch of characters.
it's "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt".
ITS OVER NINE THOUSAAAAND!!!
I can't really spot Saiyaman in any of those pictures, might be me, or is it you guys for messing up the names of the characters ?
As you might have guessed, it's the latter. no offence
Saiyaman - Gohan's alter ego super hero thing
Saibaman - LIttle green thingy sending yamcha to the other world
And might I point out that goku SSJ looks teh ***** ? o_o
Wouldn't mind seeing that on a nice HD screen
hold the hell up. Tenkaichi the BEST dbz fighting game?
How is it the "best" dbz fighting game when it has only one button for punch and kick? It has NO depth, and the majority of the characters are crappy carbon clones with each other. but i hate people like who you want lots of fluff like "ZOMG 189 characters!" stfu and learn to play a fighting game . same goes for the other complaining moron

have fun with your crappy tenkaichi 3 game with online lag. and btw, QUALITY>>>>QUANTITY. I would rather have unique characters than clones. Do you NOT realize that tenkaichi is LAUGHABLE as a fighting game?
