David Jaffe to announce new game

Once you've gotten the hang of Twitter-patrolling, you're bound to come across a few good Tweets like this next one. It's not a fake account and it's not another Twitter rumor. What we have is David Jaffe letting us know through his page that his new game is going to be announced soon.

 

Despite what the rumors say, I seriously doubt that the game in question is God of War III. Hello, we saw it in E3, remember? And it already has a release margin for 2010. Attention now turns to the other Jaffe rumor mill favorite: the next Twisted Metal.

No info available here that would point us to evil ice cream trucks and Left, Right, Up, Ups, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the TM crew to ride again. As it is, this is just news that we're getting an announcement soon.

He already confirmed a new TM in development, but it was never formally announced. I missed the Freeze-to-three special attack combos, lol.
