David Jaffe: I'd LOVE to see a God of War I remake |

Someone's been waxing sentimental, so it seems. While David Jaffe has been busy running his new studio, Eat Sleep Play, it does not mean he's totally turned his back away from his past works. In fact, he longs to see a remake of his previous gems.
Specificially, the very first God of War title. And apparently, he's got quite a very detailed imagination as to how he would like the remake to be done given the opportunity.
"And to answer a question that I imagine someone may be thinking: yes, I'd LOVE to see a remake of a game I've worked on in a few years. Take God of War I. Do it with better graphics, add new puzzles and characters, twist the story a bit, fix the stuff that sucked, redesign Kratos (bad ass in 2035 is gonna look a lot different than bad ass in 2005).
I got NO issues with this and I think it woud be very cool. Ideally they would retain the core of the game (violent action witha strong central character and a blend of accessible combat mixed with some puzzles and platforming all set againt the backdrop of the ancient Greek myths). As long as they didn't walk away from that core, I'd have 100% no issues."
Would you like to see a God of War I remake come 2035?

Just make a new game entirely. One that fits before Chains of Olympus , or between 1 & 2

He stabbed himself because Athena wanted the power with which he killed Zeus, which happened to be hope. Instead of letting Athena take the power, he killed himself unleashing it upon the world and who is left in it, considering Kratos left a hell of a mess in the wake of his revenge, seems like a pretty decent gift for the people of Earth.
