Crysis 2 won't be released this year |

Cry-McGinge, Crytek's Community Representative, posted the news in the official modding portal site of Crytek.
Crysis 2 will not be released October 30th 2009. We of course have no official release date but its definitely not this year.
There you go. Now it's time to save up for next years awesome video games lineup . In the meantime, here's a teaser of the game from last months E3.

this game is probably going to pwn MGS4, Killzone 2, and modern warfare 2. can't wait to see a game play trailer.
lol yeah right.........can't wait to see what Heavy Rain is like, really liked the video where the woman is talking to the camera.
How is it going to pwn those games when Crysis 1 sucked? The only good thing about it was the graphics, everything else was standard besides the non-existent story. Nothing more than an over-hyped tech demo released to the public in the guise of a full game.
Make *****ty games that look nice. This game is going to look worse than Crysis all thanks to the console switch over. So now they have nothing.
ill give you KZ2 since i dont think its that good of a game anymore. MGS4? Nah. MW2 isn't even out yet let alone you haven't even played it.
Crysis 2 will be the next KZ2. The graphics will be great but everything else sucks
Just because KZ2 wasn't CoD4 it was still a pretty good game. But I doubt the graphics for the console version of this game will be as good as the PC.
think Killzone 2 had great single player. Multiplayer was somewhat tacked on and wasn't that great. One thing that was great was how it switched from each mode seamlessly.
Imagine that mixed with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

I can only wish and some of them seem long so maybe they can figure out shorter versions or so.
How in the hell was that a teaser,when all we got was a big sign that said crysis 2 lol.
Sw3RvE- "this game is probaly going to pwn MGS4" Are you seriously saying that crysis 2 is better than metal gear solid, haha! MGS4 will always remain one of the best games ever made. I'm sure most people will agree with me.
I'll have to agree, it won't "pwn" MGS.. I don't own a PS3.. But the series is great,
as for you guys saying Crysis1 sucked, most likely your pc wasn't awesome enough to handle the game.
My pc isn't good either, but I do think they'll do awesome with the second game.
