Cross Edge now in retail, DLC on the way |
Ó

It took a while, but Nippon Ichi's PS3-exclusive RPG, Cross Edge, finally hit retail today in the US. The game brings together characters from five different games from five different game companies in one big SRPG spectacle.
Love it or hate it, DLC talk has already started. According to NIS America's Nao Zook, they're planning to release new costumes, items, and extra dungeons in the near future. As to when that "near future" will be, we'll just have to wait.
For the more Trophy-hungry gamers out there, here's a list of the Trophies found in the game. Looks like the game's going to be another grind-a-thon if you want to collect all of these.
Bronze:
- The Entitled: Unlock any trophy.
- The Bully: Defeat 100 enemy units.
- The Newbie: Survive 35 battles.
- The Badass: Exceed 10,000 points of total damage.
- The Juggler: Exceed a 50-hit combo!
- The Skywalker: Reach 300 AGI. (EquipmentÂ’s effect doesnÂ’t count.)
- The Meat Shield: Reach 300 VIT. (EquipmentÂ’s effect doesnÂ’t count.)
- The Juicer: Reach 300 STR. (EquipmentÂ’s effect doesnÂ’t count.)
- The Know-It-All: Reach 300 INT. (EquipmentÂ’s effect doesnÂ’t count.)

- The Gun Runner: Collect every type of weapon.
- The Battle Ready: Collect every type of armor.
- The Fashionista: Collect every type of accessory.
- The Packrat: Collect every type of item.
- The Grave Robber: Find 150 hidden items using Search.
- The Dood: Earn the true ending. (Unlocked after the true ending.)
