Conan the Barbarian: gameplay montage

Not to be confused with Hyborian Adventures, Conan the Barbarian (PS3, Xbox360) brings the focus back on the half-naked, sword-wielding hero we've known and loved through movies, comic books, etc. As for how far the game will depart from the well-known series, Nihilistic Software prez Robert Huebner says that the next-gen game will be a fusion of familiar elements and a somewhat new storyline.

Some of the things that players can look forward to are new locations, a "deep and gratifying," Ninja Gaiden-influenced combat system, and a vast arsenal of weapons and fighting styles. As you will also see from the montage (that's if you're not watching it already and not paying attention to the stuff we're saying), the game is highly influenced by SCE's God of War in terms of visuals and style. (Anyone beg to differ?)

So anyway, since we're still a ways off from getting our hands on the game, why don't you enjoy this gameplay montage we found floating around GameTrailers and get that much needed sneak peek at Conan, eh? *winks*

I agree

the movements are so clumsy and slow. The graphics aren't all that great either.
