We're going to take the liberty now to just kick back, relax and have a bit of off-topic humor to lighten up the mood. Consider this as some weekend video treat to wind down with. After all, we did hear from an analyst a few days ago that video games would benefit from the writers' strike.

If you were able to catch the recent episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, then you might have bawled over this little segment wherein he took everyone for a tour around what their office was like during the WGA strike.

What did they keep themselves busy with over the extended break during the holidays? Among other things, it's none other than Harmonix's Rock Band for the PS3 and Xbox 360. They did a number on Radiohead's Creep, plus Beastie Boys' Sabotage... umm... Edith Bunker style.

We only took YouTube user fha293ry29f's sampling of the segment - the short clip that showed the staff playing Rock Band starts at the 5:00 mark, but you might as well watch the entire clip - hilarious stuff. If you want to see more of the January 2 episode - which is one heck of a comeback episode, by all means - you can head on over to NBC's official site for Late Night with Conan O'Brien through the Via link below.

lmao

Conan is definitely the best late-night host. He doesn't need writers to make some of the funniest material happen. That's why it was the golden age of The Simpsons when he was around (he wrote the Monorail episode, for example). Great guy. Can't wait for him to take over for Jay Leno next year.
