Now that Team ICO's new project has been officially announced, it's time to do some comparing. We have here a side-by-side video comparison from Joystiq of the Project Trico footage leaked just last month, and the actual footage presented by Team ICO for The Last Guardian at E3 2009.

The clip on the left side would be the one from the event, while the one on the right would be the Trico leak. The presentation obviously has a smoother feel to it, achieving more of that Rotoshop look. Either way, am sure to cry if the giant pet dies.

Check it out and see if you spot any significant changes.

man...

that is one UGLY beast. I wish it looked better. It seriously looks like sh*t. Makes me want to vomit...sort of. It's supposed to look like that, I get it, but MAN that is ugly! Not only ugly but completely stupid. Eagle Claws, feathers, tattered wings, fox head, rat tail?!?! too far fetched.

lol

I'm sorry that it isn't a pink pony who glows in the dark for you. That's the whole friggen point, dude. An ugly beast (a man-eater monster at that too.) Actually became friends with a kid. The reason why it looks ugly is because it was probably in captivity for a while and has been in great harm.

camera recorded

the video on the right looks nicer with nicer contrast and cleaner colors but, the video on the left seems to be recorded with a camera, so no wonder the quality is bad.
