Codemasters: We're not porting Overlord to PS3 |

Codemasters has denied rumors that its recently-released PC and Xbox 360 title Overlord will be ported to the Sony PlayStation 3 video game console. This according to European video game news site Eurogamer.The rumors surfaced due to a job listing spotted on the website of Overlord developer Triumph Studios. The job posting advertised for somebody who could handle porting Xbox 360 and PC code base to PS3.
There is no word yet on what exactly Triumph is planning to port to the PS3. The most recent title on the Triumph website apart from Overlord is Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. The latter was first released four years ago.

Overlord could be described as Pikmin with demons, but I've heard its a bit more than that.. If they honestly aren't bringing it over then it must be another title in the works. I wonder where they think they'll find someone experienced at PS3 ports this early in the game? EA is obviously out, since they aren't capable of doing a decent port yet.

Well, whatever the reason, its of no interest to myself. If I want to play the game, I can just download it, and play it on pc. Same with most of xbox 360 titles.

PS3 despite its price tag is actually a structurally better console than 360 oh and the rrod on 360 sucks my ballz... anyways back to overlord, hell yeah it will probably not come to PS3 cause it flopped but Bethesda said that Oblivion would be a PC, Xbox 360 exclusive like that lasted long.... lol maybe two worlds will go to PS3 too
Oblivion was NEVER announced as a 360 exclusive that is why it does NOT say only on 360 on the box, so stop talking poo. Go look at the software sales in the statess for this week the 360 has sold huge amounts..

What are the PS3 owners playing right now?!!? Have you seen the game selection. I would be so pissed if I waited over a year to get a next gen console and then a year after that still had no games to play. Really though.....What good games are out on PS3 right now/ NONE! I would be pissed off if I waited and wasted all that money for a Blu-ray player with very limited titles.
