Codemasters confirmed the title Turning Point: Fall of Liberty |
After disclosing the working title of Codemasters' new first-person shooter, the British game developer finally confirmed that Turning Point: Fall of Liberty will indeed be the title of their upcoming alternate-reality WWII FPS.
The game will be released fourth quarter of this year, and will be available for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming systems. It basically centers on a "what if" scenario - what if the Nazis won the World War II? The game even opens with the Nazi forces leading a surprise attack on New York. With the Germans attacking a rapidly falling-to-pieces New York, how will anyone be able to stop them?
These alternate-reality thoughts are certainly compelling, as the game promises to be. Here are some pictures from the game:

although the title is reminiscent of Resistance: Fall of Man, I'll still probably pick it up, although I don't normally like FPS, because the alternate-reality thing they (industry) has been doing lately is super cool, IMO.
how is it like Resistance Fall of Man...the "what if" scenario?
There aren't any aliens in this one.
This is more a reminiscent of Freedom Fighters from Original Xbox and PC
reminiscent of RFOM for the "alternate WW2" feel
should of picked another city, I can already see some twin towers backlash from the public
