Chronicles of Riddick for Xbox - Image 1A few months ago, OXM hinted a new game based on Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. It was more of a rumor, actually, but now it's coming back and seems more real. In Game Informer's "Loose Talk" column, it said that developer Starbreeze Studios is currently making a remake of Riddick.

According to the article, the game will offer better graphics thanks to the PS3 and 360 next-gen engines, plus a bonus chapter. While still unconfirmed, fans who got their hands on this gritty FPS are probably excited in getting it. We'll make sure to cover any new info about this sleeper-hit getting a remake.

This game was f***ing awesome on the XBOX - didn't playit online - but loved the single player.

Instead of a remake - they should make a whole new game based around the Rid***** universe.

This will be a great game for all of us. The first game was a real shocker to me and alot of others; becasue it was actually very good. I expect great things from this new game.
