Chrome line cars from GT5 collector's ed to be given away in Japan

For those of you who went for the Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition, then you should have extra cars in your garage. I'm talking about the Chrome Line models that you got vouchers for. For those who didn't go special ed, you might still be able to get those into your garage. Maybe.

Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed that three of the Chrome Line cars will be given away for free. They are the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640, the BMW M3 coupe, and the Jaguar XJ13 race car. This announcement was made for Japan and will be available for free at their PlayStation Store from December 24th to January 31st.

Perhaps Sony will make the same offer for Europe and North America, but there's no word right now that would point to that. As for whipping out your Japanese PSN account to get the DLC, don't bet it'll work on your version.
