Charge your PS3 controllers with Nyko's Charge Base 2 - Image 1

Is organizing and charging your DualShock 3 and Sixaxis controllers for the PlayStation 3 a hassle for you? Perhaps Nyko Technologies' new charging dock peripheral may make your life easier.

Dubbed the Charge Base 2,  Nyko Technologies redesigned the original Charge Base peripheral and made the successor cheaper and easier to use. Aside from the ability to charge two PS3 controllers simultaneously, it also allows users to store them in one place.

Nyko's Charge Base 2 dock, furthermore, also possesses a smaller, more compact design and a faster recharge rate than its predecessor. Nyko Technologies has also introduced a new contact point dongle system into the Charge Base 2 for easier controller recharging.

The Charge Base 2 package comes with two lightweight mini USB adaptors for convenience. Nyko Technologies will make the Charge Base 2 available this month via retailers across North America and online store for the price of US$ 29.99.

Wow

Could there be anything more unnecessary?

uhh

I dunno, I've always got my controllers thrown around the room, this thing would keep them in one place all the while keeping them charge. I don't think it's a dumb idea, just not for everyone I guess.

Hmm..

I don't have a PS3, but couldn't you accomplish the same thing by plugging it into a USB port on your PC.

PS3 controllers

Well i have one of these fer ma Wii so this is a good idea......save yah money on batteries! oh wait does the PS3 controllers need Battrys??!? (O_O)()

pretty unnecessary

The batteries last like 30 hours! If you have more than one controller just charge the one you're not using with the PS3. Better than wasting $30.
