From what we've seen so far, one of the toasts of the ongoing Consumer Electronic Show is Sony's LittleBigPlanetfor the PlayStation 3. This upcoming casual game was demoed over at the event grounds by Kyle Shubel, which means you've got more teaser footage coming up to give you an idea of how it's looking so far. And don't worry - this footage is perfectly safe for work.

Shubel demonstrated LittleBigPlanet 's create function, as he set to work building up a virtual tree. Nothing too fancy, although it does preview the controls you can expect in the game's current build. Moving along, Schubel reiterated on LittleBigPlanet's upcoming appearance over at the Game Developer's Conference next month.

Nearing the end of the video - at about 4:13 - Schubel also hints that they might be releasing a Public Beta version. Now, if you fancy hearing it straight from the horse's mouth (via streamed video), the demo is ready for your viewing pleasure right below. Enjoy!

The demo is the only thing that will appease me if they're sticking to the autumn release date!
