Capcom online news: 1942: Joint Strike, Commando 3, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix beta |
Ó

We've got more news about what Capcom has cooking for both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Yesterday, we reported that Commando 3 is getting renamed to Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. Apparently, there's something else that came along with the name change.
Those who buy Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 on Xbox Live will be able to download an access key for the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta, which will run for about eight weeks. Beta participants can battle it out on one stage as either Ken or Ryu. This looks like it's for Xbox 360 owners only, though.
Capcom will also be bringing 1942: Joint Strike to both Xbox Live and the PSN. This title's the sequel to Capcom's 194X hit arcade shoot-'em-up series. The game's vertical-scrolling airplane-shooting action will be getting the 3D treatment and will come packed with two-player co-op (over internet and on the same console).
Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 and 1942: Joint Strike will be available on Xbox Live and PSN in the coming months for 800 MS points or US$ 9.99. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix has yet to be priced.

So Capcom gets shafted by MS because of the download size limit, and yet gives them acces to the beta for one of the most awaited remakes ever and in return, us PS3 owners get shafted by Capcom.
Capcom is a garbage company and all of their games suck anyways. I've yet to play a good Capcom game (because there isn't any good games that they make). It's just a overrated company because fanboys wet themselves over their mediocre games. The only thing even halfway worth playing on the list is Joint Strike.
I'd say it's XBLive only because MS has the right DRM in place to release a beta product. PS3 fanboys get over it, it's not the end of the world.
How about the Resident Evil series? RE4 is fantastic and RE5 on the way. I know not to trust you on any info.
