Talisman board game - Image 1Talisman, a board game produced by Games Workshop, was supposed to digitized and converted into a downloadable game by Capcom. The project was announced with great excitement and anticipation. Unfortunately, like my recent trip to the local night club, expectations fell well short.

Really short. The game got axed.

Capcom's senior Director for Strategic Planning, Christian Svensson explained:

Rather recently we have finally stopped development completely. After a misfire at the start, the details of which I wonÂ’t get into, we evaluated several options for moving the project to new developers, but the costs of moving forward outweighted the potential revenue. I realize this will be disappointing for the fans of the game.

In a show of good grace, Capcom apologized for their admittedly premature announcement of the project before it could get off the ground and to everyone who was looking forward to the game.
