We all know that Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) was one of E3 2008's biggest attractions. Some hands-on action was unleashed by the Japanese publishers and along with that, some new info as well.

In addition to the game's simultaneous worldwide launch date across two platforms, Capcom also revealed that a Collector's Edition of the game will be available. The price? US$ 89.99. A little on the chunky side, but for drooling fans, it should be a steal.

Resident Evil 5, touted by its devs as the scariest and toughest chapter of the series, will launch on March 13th, 2009. That's a Friday but this one spells good gaming fortune all the way.

I'm becoming such an addict for any little tidbit of Resi 5 information.

My life will be (temporarily at least) complete if I hear news that Mercenaries mode is coming back, complete with Leon, Krauser, et al.

I'll pass, I always dropped $10-30 for a Special/Collectors Edition yet I have never even watched/listened to or taken out the bonus dvd/soundtrack from the case.
