From the humble beginnings of Winning Eleven, Konami Digital is now ready to explode with Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PSP, DS) which should sell to all football fans. If you've been an avid fan, these screenshots that seem to be from Pro Evolution Soccer 2008's versions on more powerful platforms (PS3, 360, PC) are sure to catch your attention.
It's quite pleasing to see that even commoners look good. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 never really pushed for eye-candy if it would make gameplay suffer, but this upcoming installment of the video game more than satisfies. We also get a good glimpse at the different menus and options available in-game. Being a manager may actually get a lot tougher this time around, since the players can complain if you work them too hard.

i love pro evo hate commentry wished they could get someone like john motson and make the replay longer so you can see the bulid up of the attack fifa pretty pes is football.

wow, those screens might as well have been from the PSP or DS versions. seriously, it's on the level of an old PS2 game. must have great gameplay to survive on PS3/360.
moaning about graphics, this game is not about that, it's about football. If you want something that looks better then play fifa.

Players complaining about being overworked? There goes my Master League tactics. Might have to actually buy some players beyond the starting eleven this time.

Badz149 u obviously not a huge football fan and i bet u can barely kick a football correctly.
If u fancy a football game with great commentary and dont really care sooo much about better graphics and realism then fifa is your game.
For hardcore football fans who have the passion for the beautiful game then Pro Evo is truly the game to own. No Footy game other than pro evo plays like REAL football.
FACT: PRO EVO SERIES IS THE BEST AND MOST FUN GAME EVER MADE.

Fifa will have better graphics all the names and better sound, but EA sports cant think for themself in terms of gameplay the last Fifa game was a rip-off of Pes 5 and I bet the next one will be the same, like in the quick freekicks system and that. If you love football, gameplay is the most important thing.
One of the main reasons I got my PS3 is for this game. Pes 6 on the Xbox is terrible as in no saved replays, no edits, no ML and Im sure the shooting system feels different to the ps2/pc version. The ps3 pad feels better when playing the game as the Xbox pad is near impossible to do a 'super cancel' on. Im just hoping for big things from this game.
PES is a sport simulation giving a real experience of football. FIFA is an arcade game for kids. Nuff said.
I like that they've added a touch more realism to the ML mode, as much as i love Pro Evo the master league modes have been a bit daft in the past.

I've played both FIFA and PES, and I like FIFA better. I've been playing it since FIFA 96 on SEGA MegaDrive.
