Canadian PS3 Fallout 3: GotY edition not recognizing original Fallout 3 save games |

Canadian PS3 owners are reporting problems with the PS3 version of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition. Apparently, there's a bug keeping the GotY edition from recognizing their original Fallout 3 save files.
Members of the Bethesda forums are currently speculating that the problem may lie in the GotY being incompatible with the version of the original game sold in the region. The problem may not be localized to Canada, as there's also a report on the Bethesda forums that the same issue has been experienced in Sweden.
So far, Bethesda hasn't announced any explanations or fixes, but they have acknowledged that they are looking into the problem. Here's hoping it gets fixed fast.

Just play the game all over again. It's easier with the DLC specially if you get the Winterized Power Armor at around level 5 along with non-degrading weapons.
i really hope bethesda doesn't screw their ps3 customers again like they did with oblivion GotY edition , freaking vampire glitch . they never again released a patch for that irritating glitch.
Anyone here have problems with the U.S. version of the GOTY Edition?
That's saddening... I've got my GotY coming via amazon... and Im in Canada :( Hope they patch it or something.
Well, it doesn't matter for me since I will only get the GotY edition and it was actually aimed at people who haven't got the original, but of course it sucks for the people who already got the original. BTW: does anybody know if there are similar problems with the GotY of LittleBigPlanet?
