Campfire of the colossus: new God of War III art shows Fire Titan |

Maybe this recent concept art might shed some light. It's from one Cecil Kim, a mainstay God of War artist - currently the lead artist for GoW3 - who also has (surprise! surprise!) Final Fantasy IX and Parasite Eve on his portfolio.
Here we have a Fire Titan (no wai!). Whether this titan will be a playable level or just something we see in the background, it's still looking pretty wicked. And hey, would ya look at that. A teeny-tiny Kratos (with conceptual detachable arm a la Rayman) to show the size ratio.
Five bucks says we'll have a cutscene where Kratos is camping out on Fire Titan's back, roasting s'mores and singing songs on a guitar with the harpies.

This is my most anticipated game for the PS3. Imo and taste, this trumps any of the games for this generation for Sony and the PS3.
