Calling All Cars: videos, art, and screenshots |
Ó
Fans of the cops-and-robbers genre should be happy to know that Sony's contribution to that niche of games is getting ready for its release. Developed by Incognito Entertainment, Calling All Cars would put the player in a police car and have them going around cities in order to track down, chase, and ultimately capture the bad guys.
Bound to be released as a downloadable game on the Playstation Network by March 15, Calling All Cars is a light-hearted and humorous game which can be easily picked up and played right off the bat. Its simple controls involve the left analog stick to steer your police car, the R2 button which gives you an extra boost of speed from time to time, and the R1 button which launches a contraption to nab your criminal. Once you've captured your target, then you will have to play defensively until you manage to deliver the criminal to jail. Until then, you won't be able to use any of your weapons.
So, while we're waiting for this fun, little game to finally be made available to us, the game developer Incognito Entertainment released a good bit of screenshots, illustrations, videos (which you can download using the link below), and character art for us to enjoy for now.
