I've already sold this game. Never was a major fan of it to many minor technical issues that pulled me out of the experience. Such as lag issues, lag is a huge factor in determining who shot who in this game. Whats worse is this is usually determined by the hosts connection, who could be giving everyone else a poor connection while he runs around with full bars. With Resistance 2 coming out with 60 players it boggles my mind to why COD4 wasn't a bit better with the issues.

Though it saddens me considering the work I put in for the Gold Dragnov.

# Yeah, I won't sell it, but the lag issues really kill it for meMaster Chef 2008-02-17 15:29
If there's even a slight bit of lag, you can shoot an entire clip into someone and not a single shot will register, or none of your three perfect knife strikes in a row will count, and the enemy proceeds to spin around and nail you with one shot.

The spawns are even worse, it gets old fast when you spawn in the middle of an enemy air strike three times in a row. Or spawn in front of an enemy who knifes you in the back

Until they fix these issues I will not be purchasing maps

beyond the technical difficulties... i still think this game is great and i cant seem to stop playing it online. and more maps will be cool cause i get tired of people who know all the sweet spots on the map; so new maps to learn will be nice. i own resistance and cod4 and i can bet that with 60 people playing the models are going to be of a wayy lower quality than in cod4, because resistance isnt the best looking game imo.

as for purchasing... that would be lame if we have to buy the maps that someone made up for free for a contest. freely made maps should be distributed freely. if it costs anything i wont buy the maps anyway.
