Call of Duty 4 special event soon; Double XP Weekend possible |

Better notch those calendars for next, next week! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare may be getting another Double XP Weekend - and then some, if we're lucky.
Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has announced via his IAMfourtwozero blog that a special event will be prepared for Call of Duty 4 players on XBL and PSN. This will take place on the weekend of September 13-14.
Bowling, however, isn't quite sure yet what exactly will happen during that weekend and that he has "a gut feeling itÂ’ll have Double XP attached to it for all those hungry for some power-leveling on Call of Duty 4."
There's going to be some XBL banners promoting the event - Bowling's currently working on those. And on a side note, he's also working on the Playlists, and it's only his hope that they would be ready in time for one big promotion during the said September 13-14 weekend.

im sry Double xp weekend has been done, sounds like somthing new if the playlist thing going on and the BIG promotion
i forgot to mention
this as been buggin me lately
can anyone reach anything like, any of the screens of call of duty on there TV, or monitor
are they all pre-rendered, is it pc
or is it running at 1080p, i doubt 1080p because thats just the resolution it looks totally different
It looks liek art work and probably is.
they should try sumtin new ......like maybe give away those maps that have been free on 360 for quite some time
and in regards to your other question i think it's prolly prerendered my 1080p looks close but not that good
If they would have added Trophies, I'd be playing this game again. Maybe if they add a few new game modes or something, I'll come back. It's just so boring now.

on topic though... that pic is definitely rendered. Double xp is useless besides helping people move up more ranks in 1 day... im already 10th prestige lvl 55 to explain why its useless. Its been done at least 2 times already anyway... A good free map would be cool, or rumble, or trophies, heck even in game music would be nice.
Doesn't help a lot of us that are prestige 10, and if I had the option to go higher, I would. Please IW, at least release 10 more prestiges!!
