Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to have new downloadable maps |

Infinity Ward of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) fame already started its Community Mapping Contest, promising oodles of well-made maps once the contest ends on March 31. However, what about those who couldn't wait and want to get additional maps sooner? Fret not, since Infinity Ward will have new maps for COD4 gamers in both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.How these new maps will look has not been revealed as of this moment. At least, we can be content that the worldwide best-selling title for 2007 will continue to churn out more new content in the months to come. "WeÂ’re excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we canÂ’t wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone," said Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward's community manager.
