Call of Duty 4 map pack not delayed, update on Game of the Year Editions |

Great news to those waiting for the release of the map packs for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)! Robert Bowling wrote in his blog that the maps are not delayed, contrary to the information that it's been pushed back to April 10.As of this writing, the certification of the packs are already set for an on-time launch for April 3 or 4. That's today or tomorrow. There's a high probability that it could be released later tonight (save for Japan) or early Friday morning. As soon as they are up, you guys can use the tokens to get your hands on the map packs.
Along with this update, Bowling said that he's currently putting in effort so that the correct release date would reflect in the system which will allow those who purchased the Game of the Year Editions to get their respective codes for the tokens.
Now you guys a breathe a sigh of relief. It's just a matter of hours before you can enjoy the four new maps for the FPS game. We'll keep you guys posted for more updates.

What is this whole tokens thing? And how do you get them?
Tokens are Xbox money basicly you buy tokens to buy stuff like arcade games, movies, and themes and I foresee a fanboy fun comment war again. Author had to only include tokens couldn't include the PS3.
... edition so you don't have to spend $$$ on Microsoft points to buy the map-pack. Essentially new adopters get the map-pack for free IF they buy the GotY edition but those of us who have supported the game from the beginning have to pay extra for the content.
... and I just wanna say... the prank the idiot troop were tryin' to pull all over the net with the sketchy/fake websites delaying the map-packs was amateur. The sky was not falling yet I still consider you chickens.
Since us PS3 guys get NONE of this, why is this reported in the PS3 section? -_-
... most of the people who commented on this bogus release date were Sony fans rubbing it in Xbox user's faces.
Okay, the Game of the Year edition comes with Microsoft Tokens right? Are we free to spend those tokens on anything we want? And will the map pack be free later?
on PSN today its coming out. The store never updates on fridays so we get um today.
because its a release date for both systems (it just talks more about the 360 store getting there tokens straight.

it was AFTER the store gets its new interface then it wont update for two weeks.

I saw it and it does say there will be no updates till the store updates. So no cod4 maps today I'm guessing. Thats really not what I wanted..

OH MY GOD !!! 21 days well thats does it im gonna throw my PS3 out with its built in bluray player free online gaming and it inspired exclusive titles such as MSG, Gran Turismo and Little Big Planet and buy my self one of those forward thinking Xbox 360's its just not good enough i tell you.
That actually was funny Lotus. You said crappy service yet the whole point in waiting is their updating the PSstore. On the 17th it'll have we'll have a new store look plus, new Cod4 maps, new warhawk maps, and the Metal gear online beta. I don't see how thats crappy service... but of course a fanboy would.
