Bug fix for Uncharted 2's multiplayer beta on the way

Are you one of the lucky gamers who have accessed the multiplayer beta of Uncharted 2? Sure, there are persistent bugs in the game but soon it will be fixed. Over at the PlayStation forums, Naughty Dog's Justin Richmond has said that they are aware of the issues and fix is on the way.

Among the major bugs being fixed are the matchmaking issues, disappearing flags and the rank resets. They will also update the limits in deathmatch and looking to extend the play time of the beta.

I hadn't noticed any bugs yet. I'm really enjoying the co op multiplayer much more so than the competitive but that's good too.

It's great eh? Had some trouble with the matchmaking but nothing else for me. I'm not worried, Naughty Dog are one of the top developers out there imo, no doubt they'll get it sorted!

It's a beta, after all, so of course there will be some bugs. They will be fixed eventually.

I downloaded and played the demo for a couple minutes before it booted me out of the game. Also when trying to exit to the XMB, the PS3 did a crash restart, which is not cool. That has a potential of causing system problems. I think they should have at least worked out the system crash restart issue before releasing the beta. That leads to more risk of PS3's messing up.

I also have the crashes when I try to exit to the XMB, and the ridiculously long Matchmaking waiting times.



I'm not sure if anyone is experiencing this also, but I seem to empty a clip into someone, and they very rarely die, yet, after I receive about two hits, my screen goes black and white - a final bullet kills me. In fact, last night, some guy ran right past me into a doorway, I started shooting him in the back with the AK at close quarters. He turned around, aimed up, and killed me - I was also shooting his face once turned around!!! I can't do any more than that. And I know how to play the game, I have the Platinum Trophy for Drakes Fortune.



I did notice, however, that everyone's connection was full green bars, but I only had three, and they were greyed out, so I may be lagging quite a bit.

Maybe it didn't happen for them. It's certainly not happened to me and I've been playing the beta for most of the past week.
